FAQ
The short version
Certified, native-speaking linguists. Onsite across Minnesota, video and phone anywhere. Certified translations courts and USCIS accept. Confidential, fast, and fairly priced — for over 25 years.
Still stuck?
Ask us directly — during business hours or after.
Are your interpreters certified?
Yes. We work with certified, qualified linguists who are native speakers of the target language, and we match each assignment to an interpreter with experience in the subject matter. That standard comes from more than 25 years serving legal, academic, and healthcare settings, where accuracy isn't optional. You can read more about how we work on our services page.
Do you provide onsite interpretation, and where?
Yes. We provide in-person interpreters throughout Minneapolis–Saint Paul and statewide across Minnesota. Your interpreter comes to your courtroom, clinic, school, or office — wherever the conversation is happening. Send a request with your location and we'll take it from there.
Do you provide remote interpretation?
Yes — both remote video and telephonic interpretation, available anywhere, not just in Minnesota. Video gives you the visual connection of an in-person session; phone gets an interpreter on the line in minutes. For emergencies, remote interpretation is available 24/7.
How quickly can I get an interpreter?
We pride ourselves on responsive scheduling, and same-day and emergency requests are often possible. For anything urgent, the fastest route is to call us directly at 507-271-2751 — after hours included. For planned appointments, the request form works well.
How quickly can I get a translation?
It depends on the length and complexity of your documents, but fast turnaround is one of our specialties. When you request a quote, we'll review what you have and include a clear delivery date, so you know exactly when to expect your translation. If you're on a deadline, tell us — rush delivery is available.
Are my documents and conversations confidential?
Yes, always. We handle sensitive legal, medical, and business matters every day, and strict confidentiality is built into how we work. Whatever you share with us — in a session or on paper — stays between us.
Do you provide certified translations for USCIS or courts?
Yes. We provide certified translations delivered with a signed certificate of accuracy, accepted by courts, USCIS, schools, and government agencies. Just tell us where the translation is going when you request your quote, and we'll prepare it accordingly.
What languages do you cover?
Spanish, Somali, Maay Maay, Hmong, Oromo, Arabic, Amharic, Vietnamese, French, Chinese, and Russian — plus many more by request. Every assignment is handled by a native speaker of the target language. If you don't see your language listed, ask us; most requests can be arranged.
How much does it cost?
Every job is a little different, so quotes are customized to your language, setting, and timeline rather than pulled from a one-size-fits-all price list. Our pricing is competitive, and your quote will spell out the cost clearly — no surprises. Request a quote and we'll get you a number quickly.
How do I request an interpreter?
Whichever way is easiest for you: use the online request form, call 507-271-2751, or email dahir@languageaccesspartners.com. Tell us your language, setting, and schedule, and we'll match the right linguist. After hours, reach us by phone or email — we're available 24/7 for emergency interpretation.
